OTC COFFEE was founded to create a world where specialty coffee can be enjoyed more freely, more precisely, and more personally. Our mission is to make the “perfect cup” accessible to anyone—at home or in the office—without relying on barista-level skills or professional equipment. To achieve this, we import and produce specialty coffee capsules and develop our own next-generation coffee machines.
Japan’s First Dedicated Capsule Factory, Established in Mukojima,Tokyo
In 2026, OTC COFFEE opened Japan’s first fully specialized coffee capsule factory in Mukojima, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.By implementing world-class manufacturing standards, we give form to our belief that a capsule is not a convenient substitute, but a highly precise extraction platform.
From small-batch production to large-scale manufacturing, the factory is designed to capture each roaster’s philosophy and express it faithfully in capsule format.
Delivering the Roaster’s True Identity
OTC COFFEE partners with a wide range of roasters to create original capsules through our OEM program. Our goal is to translate a roaster’s approach to coffee—its philosophy, roasting style, and flavor design—into a format that can be reproduced anytime, anywhere, by anyone.
Working closely with roasters, we refine every detail: grind size, fill weight, extraction resistance, and flavor contour.
The aluminum capsules we develop with top roasters preserve freshness and aroma, making them one of the most precise extraction formats available.
We see capsules not simply as consumer products, but as a medium for conveying a roaster’s worldview in its most stable form.
Tracing Coffee Back to Its Origins. Our product development begins at the source—visiting farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica, and beyond.
